Rainbow Radio Pilipinas is an LGBT-oriented radio show produced under the Rainbow Rights Project, Inc., a group of lesbian and gay lawyers and legal activists who promote rational discourse on LGBT rights through fun and novel ways. The radio show will discuss and explore real issues and lives of LGBTs as told by LGBTs themselves. It is geared to not only reach out to LGBTs in the Philippines but also to enable the public to better understand the LGBTs and ultimately help them become allies of the community.
Rainbow Radio Pilipinas is made possible through the international funding and the support of LGBT organizations and individuals. The one hour-long show will run every Saturday at 2:30 at DWBL 1242 AM. Mike Enriquez and Philippine Vice President Noli de Castro are among today’s broadcasting icons who trace their roots at DWBL .
